European forerunner, Mediamobile serves all major players in the automotive, portable navigation devices (PND) and telecom operator markets with a premium high quality service.
Today Mediamobile pursues its presence in Europe with the acquisition of Destia Traffic, the department of real time traffic information of Destia Ltd. In July 1st 2010, Destia Traffic activities and its 18 employees were transferred to Mediamobile, under a new entity, Mediamobile Nordic. Based in Helsinki, Finland, Mediamobile Nordic sells services covering Northern Europe, including Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Poland.
Mediamobile also takes benefits of the TDF Group's international activities, with Digita in Finland - already a supplier of broadcast service of RDS-TMC for Destia Traffic- in Poland with PSN and with Levira in Estonia.
The know-how, expertise and customer portfolio of Mediamobile allows Mediamobile Nordic to develop its local client base, and increase European development of Mediamobile. With this acquisition, Mediamobile increased its European footprint 4 times with 2.2 million sq km and about 120 million people covered in total.
